Vehicles in Germany's City Discovered Smeared with Swastikas in Human Blood, Police State

Police stated they were alerted by a man who found a vehicle in Hanau covered with reddish liquid

Around 50 cars have been marked with what seems to be blood from a person in the German city of Hanau near Frankfurt, according to police.

Automobiles, exterior walls and postboxes were marked, occasionally with Nazi symbols, they stated in a statement.

Officers state they were notified late on Wednesday evening, when a individual discovered that a automobile in the Lamboy area of Hanau had been smeared with a red-colored fluid.

The fluid had been placed in the form of a swastika, they added.

Police then discovered numerous other marked automobiles and residential walls in the nearby vicinity.

Nazi symbols are prohibited in Germany under legislation banning the visible presentation of Nazi-era symbols.

Police say early analysis show the liquid was likely human blood.

"Currently there is no lead as to its origin; officials are not yet informed of any harm in connection with the event," they commented.

Municipal representatives said they were trying "to unravel the case" and have requested to the community for information.

A high-ranking official commented the incident rendered him stunned and needed to be solved rapidly.

"This incident strikes at the core of Hanau and reopens the wounds of the far-right attack half a decade ago," he stated on a platform, mentioning the death of nine people by a assailant targeting people of foreign heritage in February 2020.
